GRACE VERSUS LEGALISM

Most of the New Testament books have one central theme. For example, the book of Ephesians deal with the Church, the book of Philippians has to do with joy. The theme here in the book of Galatians is grace versus legalism. It is a two fold theme. Salvation by grace, and spirituality by grace. Now when I will be using the term legalism I am referring to the idea that something must be added to the grace of God either to obtain salvation or to attain spirituality. This usually implies some kind of… Continue

The Spirit Controlled Life

One of the biggest problems of the church today is the one of legalism; I’m totally convinced that the book of Galatians is much appropriate for the church today. That is what to me makes Galatians a very exiting book in this book or letter to the churches of Galatia the Apostle Paul lays down a foundation which every Christian need in his life to guard against this is the most subtle trap believer’s fall into – the trap of legalism. In church age today when some body hires the word legalism me… Continue

The Narcissistic Pastor

The narcissistic and psychopathic Pastor is the guru at the centre of a cult even though they may preach and teach the truth. Like other gurus, he demands complete obedience from his flock: his spouse, his offspring, other family members, friends, and colleagues. He feels entitled to adulation and special treatment by his congregation and followers. He punishes the members that straying and do not submit to his wishes. He enforces discipline, total compliance to his teachings, vision and so pres… Continue

A gift at my doorstep

A few years ago a gift came to my doorstep of my life. It didn’t look much like a gift at all, and it certainly it wasn’t wrapped like a gift with a bow and a fanciful paper. The heart of a Coach

Coaching is more than asking a good question or listening more intently. It’s more than holding someone accountable or helping a person set action steps. Skills are important, but the bedrock of great coaching is what’s in your heart as a coach. I often say to new coaches, “If you have the right heart, you can make all kinds of technique mistakes and the client will still be transformed; but technique without heart is manipulation.” Great coaching comes from a conscious imitation of the posture… Continue

As a man thinks in His heart so is he.

Have you ever thought about how you think? Do you ever wonder how much your thoughts affect the quality of your life? If not, may be it’s time you did… (As a man thinks in his heart so is he.) (Out of the heart are the issues of life) Perhaps the greatest Biblical principle ever reveled is that ‘we become what we think about’. Each person’s outer world is a reflection of their inner thoughts and ideas. In essence what is going on outside of you is a reflection of what’s going on inside you. Th… Continue

The Fellowship of the Unashamed

There are no words politely or crude enough to express what I want to express here- it’s going to take real Christlikeness to stand for right, law, order and above all, godliness in the day and hour we’re facing. There are as many people threatened by the use of swearing word’s as there are men and women intimidated by the word godliness. Jesus Christ it’s not for the lazy or hypocrites. It’s for people with a strong commitment to rightousness. I’m not an angry man. I’m not mad at the world, my… Continue

Introduction to coaching

Coaching has taken the World by a storm. You can find coaching in every sphere of life: articles in magazines, radio programs, TV programs, and newspapers columns. They range in quality, from the powerful and inspirational, through to the daring, misleading, ridiculous and dangerous. True life coaching is not about some type of know it all person giving you his knowledge of life, or how you should live, while there may not be anything wrong with seeking some expert help and advise in fixing you… Continue

WHAT MORE DO YOU WANT HIM TO DO ?
