About Me:
I got involved in church in 1975. I was 15, & thanks to a friend, Lori Wagner who sent me the Youtube clip of Sis. Vani Xavier. I had a revelation moment I have needed since I was 12.
Early in my life, I was introduced to some cult involvement, but I survived that, and I hungered for God! Deeply, as long as I can recall I felt a need and a hunger for a savior. I loved Jesus from the first time I recall a painting at my Grandmothers, with Jesus and children. But I had no clue how to find him! I went to Sunday school, but due to abuse in my life, at an early age I began to think God was mean, I did not like him! He was allowing things to hurt me, and I did not want anything to do with him. I liked his Son however. So you see where I was headed. To a lot of confusion. So I found it was best to skip church with my folks. My grandmom had invited me to a Concert by the Jeremiah People, on Dec.9th, 1972. I was 12.I felt God. I repented, and Jesus touched me. But no one would listen to me, I was 12.I was cute. No I was hungry! I then fell prey to satinist, but, JESUS The 1 true God, found me.
Pastor JT Pugh started the CARPENTER'S SHOP a youth center for youth, even the untouchable youth of town. Me.
I was raised in a home that believed in Jesus, yet we were not involved in church for the most part. I lived with some abuse in my life, that some how created in me a longing to find a savior! My journey, and desperate search for God led me down many paths at a very young age. It was when I was 15 that Pastor J.T.Pugh and Rev. Marvin and Sis. Claudette Walker opened a youth center called The Carpenter's Shop. I met a young lady in the youth group Robin, and she prayed for me, and God touched me. I stayed at the Carpenters Shop, as the Walker's left to minister in other places. Then Bro. Monte and Sis. Dianne Showalter came as our youth leader's. The Showalter's taught me the Apostle's doctrine, and truth! I moved to Denver when I was 17 and lived with Pastor Billy and Sis. Brenda Hale, and their daughter's, Melanie, and Lori. I went to Christian Life college in Stockton, CA. I married when I was 21 and when I was 24, in 1984 I had my first child Heather, and then in 86' Amber, and in 87' my son Blake. Having Jesus as my guide, and family and the family of God are my greatest treasures!
Unfortunately my husband of ten years choose to leave God, to leave a 5 bedroom home in Denver, and a good job, a family and a church for the world, addiction, alcoholism, and many more failed relationships. Then we divorced in 1993. So I raised my children alone. Jesus always met our needs.
I believe we must contend for the faith, and never water it down, or fall prey to the Post Modernism movement of no absolutes! I am 1 voice who will declare there ARE absolutes. There are essentials of salvation! They must never be watered down or changed and we as the church need to teach it loud and clear! All roads do not lead to Heaven. There is ONE and only ONE way to Heaven. JESUS, the fullness of the Godhead, Jn. 3 the new birth, Acts 2 the birth of the church and the the death , burial, and resurrection, fulfilled in Acts 2 :38. Also, separation, still is in the word of God! Not legalism, balance, and Bible based common sense. Serving Jesus with Gladness!
We seem to see more and more people who want to by-pass Calvary and go to the gifts, that will never work. As my mother in the Gospel says, I too love Paul saying "I must decrease, and He must increase! "
We must die daily, so our efforts bring fruit.
I also spent years in a Mennonite community, and raised my kids in their schools. I learned a lot from them about being a servant, simplicity, hospitality, and temperance.
I am One God Apostolic Jesus name Pentecostal, and a child of the wind, and Azusa Street!
My heritage as a child of the wind is a pearl of great price for me!
However I have learned there are many voices from which I can learn, like Watchman Nee, C.S. Lewis... Sis. Vani Xavier said to me recently, don't just read your Bible, STUDY it.
It seem like I have watched a lack of thirsting, and hungering for knowledge in many.
I heard Bro. Stoneking say, "you can lead a horse to water, but you can't make it drink.
However, if you salt their oats they will drink! "
After raising several horses I know that is true!
So it is, we are salt, we are light, and so may we always represent Jesus well, with integrity and service and gladness! May we be salt, and light! ~

Are you in this area?!
God is moving through his people around the world. Many reports speak about God filling seekers with His spirit, people being healed and much more.
I am working with some key people to plan for the future of our ministry. This is a very serious group that will have real and lasting inpact on God's people. I am looking for people who are committed to work with us in covenant relationship to look past all the plans of men and seek the will of God.
If this speaks to you there are several ways you can help:
1. Pray with us and for us.
2. Fast with us. We have set aside Mondays as our day each week for corporate fasting.
3. Offer suggestions as to how we can better serve the people of God, direct our ministry and make a real and lasting impact. Tell me what God is saying to you in this hour. I would love your input.
4. Join our core group.
In any of these options speak to you please contact me to let me know how you are helping. I appreciate you and will respond personally to your message. IF you are willing to join our core group of persons who will look at direction please include your phone number in your response as I would like to chat with you in person.
Blessings!
Dr. Bernie L. Wade
