From a weekly radio broadcast over thirty years ago in Knoxville, Tennessee to mission fields on five different continents today, Open Heavens International Gospel Outreach has sought after and experienced the living Christ by the power of the Holy Ghost. With strong seeking, timely preaching and anointed worship, we desire to bring to every hungry soul the phenomenon of an “open heaven” - where Christ is glorified, man is sanctified and the devil is petrified!
With a rich Pentecostal heritage, Joel Hawkins was born again at an early age and began to serve the Lord as a teenager in radio, music and missionary endeavors. He then pursued the call of God in four years of Bible school, five years as a worship leader and youth pastor, and then eight years as a senior pastor. Now the ministry has emerged as a world-wide outreach to preach, defend and confirm the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the souls of this generation.

I have just returned from a wonderful two-week series of meetings in California, where we enjoyed God’s holy Word and the rich fellowship of the beloved saints in Christ.
