As we are seeing an increase in the global persecution of Christians, it is now more important than ever that we follow our Lord’s command to love one another, help one another, pray for one another, and bear one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2, 1John 3:14-18) and the apostles gathered themselves together unto Jesus, and told him all things, both what they had done, and what they had tought. Mark 6:30

We are all praying the Lord; to inspire you and help you to visit India and Lord’s work will develop in India. We believe that our Lord be with you all and bless you. We trust in Him and He will give what we ask and He will sent you to India for the gospel. We are also hoping in your prayers to get financial help for Aruna Kumari’s operation expenses. Please pray for our great need. God bless you.

Your brother in Christ.. Pastor. Saripalli Ravi Kumar

India is the second largest nation in the world. There are 2.3%Christians in this country. Approximately one third (over 376 million people), are suppressed by the Hindu caste system and considered “untouchable” and “below the feet of God” by their neighbors. They are poor and oppressed, working as rickshaw drivers and day laborers, making one dollar a day. Oftentimes, “untouchables,” also known as Dalits, are blamed for crimes they did not commit and then beaten, raped or even killed, while the police turn a blind eye. In India, almost the entire Christian community comes from this oppressed group of people, the Dalits. Christians are even further persecuted for their faith in Jesus Christ by Hindu extremists using the anti-conversion law to terrorize Christians. We continue to hear of pastors who are beaten and their churches burned because of their faith in Christ.

We have the privilege of working with several hundred Indian pastors who are persecuted and in need of assistance for simple things such as food, clothing, shelter and medicine. The needs in India are many. Besides the normal basic needs, a few of the common needs are tri-wheelers (similar to wheelchairs) for lepers and the handicapped, school books and uniforms for orphans, funds to construct churches or homes that are made out of bricks and mortar instead of thatched coconut leaves and bamboo, disaster relief (every year there is a rainy season in which people lose their homes, churches, and all their possessions in flood waters) bicycles and motorcycles for pastors, sewing machines for widow to have an income, and wells for clean water. In spite of all their struggles, and having very little of this life's goods, when you visit their churches or homes, you are greeted with beautiful warm humble smiles, and so much love and appreciation for your visit. They have learned what is truly important in this life.

Our Indian brethren certainly need our financial help, but they also need our love and encouragement. If you choose to support a church in India, click here to see list you will have the opportunity to build a relationship with a pastor, Bible woman (a woman reaching other women for Christ) or widows through letters. This is truly a blessing for the pastor, Bible woman or widow, and for you as well. Our Indian brethren are prayer warriors, and will certainly be praying for you. but primarily in various areas of India, helping hundreds of pastors spread the gospel of Jesus Christ in their local villages. In most countries Christians are impoverished and persecuted because of their faith. Our goal is to uplift and encourage our brethren, while meeting their immediate needs for food, clothing, shelter and medicine. As they are strengthened, they will be able to more effectively preach the gospel of Jesus Christ to the nations!
