Whoa! That is a good word, brother! Minister unto the Lord first. Wow -- now there's a thought. I found a Bible witness for that in the Book of Acts, chap. 15:2! It just stands to reason that if we (preachers like you and me) spend no time ministering unto the Lord, how can we expect to have anything from Him to minister unto His people with? Very good word, Brother!

Yes. That is one thing that was instilled into me as a Pentecostal young person. Time of personal communication and worshipping the Lord! I also remember a time, early on in serving the Lord, when my life was just listless. It was blah. Didn't seem like the Holy Ghost was doing a thing in my heart! With repentant tears, I got down before the Lord, and He directed my attention to a copy of the Bible. He then spoke to me and told me I needed to read it if I wanted to have His victory and His presence around me every day! I found that we, as Apostolic Pentecostals, were not just "other kids on the block" (another brand of church folk), but the people of the Name and the people of the Book!

Our heavenly Father seeketh such that will worship Him in spirit and in truth!

Never do I want to be guilty of spiritual illiteracy!

Daily time with the Lord is a must!

In prayer, about 40-55 minutes
in personal Bible Reading, about 30 minutes

Do you have the habit of a daily devotion?
When do you have your devotion time; how long is it usually; describe it.

Let's talk about our daily walk.

I encourage to check out the Daily God Walk at godwalk.workpress.com
It is a daily devotional I write. It' also available in print form.
