I'd be glad to discuss this subject with you. What is your understanding of the Godhead?

God is God he is Creator of Every thing
in Jesus he is our father
He is God of ADam and God of Abraham
God of Issac and God Of Isreal
He is my God.

God is Father in creation, Son in redemption, and Holy Ghost in regeneration. Same God, just different manifestation. When Jesus told his disciples to "Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost" (Matthew 28:19) he said the act was to be in the name of the "Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost". Notice the word "name" is singular, not plural. Father, Son and Holy Ghost are not names but titles. I have three children that God has blessed me with, this makes me a Father. Since I was born to my parents, I am also a Son. So I fill both "offices" of Father, to my children, and Son to my parents; but my name is Douglas Wood. The titles do not separate me from any other man who has children, which makes him a Father, and born of parents, which makes him a Son. What separates me from other men who also fill the "offices" of Father and Son is my name: Douglas Wood. The command in Matthew 28:19 was given by Jesus to his disciples just before he ascended. As a matter of fact, Jesus spent a little time with his disciples, instructing them concerning the Kingdom of God. Acts 1:3 says "To whom also he shewed himself alive after his passion by many infallible proofs, being seen of them forty days, and SPEAKING OF THE THINGS PERTAINING TO THE KINGDOM OF GOD"(emphasis mine). Jesus took the time to instruct them concerning what they were to teach and preach once he left them. What did they do? On the day of Pentecost, when the Holy Ghost was poured out, it got the attention of the many people who were gathered in Jerusalem. After some of them mocked them a little, Peter stood up and presented the Gospel message to them (Acts 2:14-36). The Bible says that "they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do?"(Acts 2:37) Once the Gospel had been presented, conviction got a hold of their hearts. Peter went on to tell them what the proper response should be to the Gospel message: "...Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the NAME OF JESUS CHRIST for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost."(Acts 2:38) So we see that the word "name" appears again in this Scripture in the singular form, only Peter does not mention any titles, only a name: Jesus Christ. So the very ones that were being instructed by Jesus Christ in Matthew 28:19, and who spent 40 days with Jesus before he ascended (Acts 1:3), obeyed what they were taught by commanding them to be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ, recognizing that the Father, Son and Holy Ghost were titles that described the one and only eternal God that is known to us by name as Jesus Christ.

For me, this subject is so easy! People have made it so hard. The Deity and nature of God are not hard to understand. It is a trick of the Enemy (Satan) to make the nature God out as a difficult thing to understand.

This is very simplistic here. Greater depth of the subject can be gone into, but for the sake of this response, here is an very easy understanding:

God is Spirit (as God, He is holy - - the Holy Spirit). He took on flesh (incarnated Himself) as the man Jesus Christ. Today He indwells the church, and the believer by His Spirit. Easy, eh?

I know that's a very simplistic explanation, but in a nutshell that's it. It's not difficult to accept at all.

Very true, Pastor Taylor! In my attempting to make this as easy as possible, it seems that I left out that important truth. In places, it appearsas though the Scriptures mis-interpret themselves, or contradict each other (not true - for if the whole word is taken into account the so-called contradiction can be dismissed). For example, the Bible tells us that God is a Spirit, doesn't have flesh and bones, and no man has seen the Father. But yet, also in the Bible, Jesus tells Phillip that, "He who has seen me (Jesus) hath seen the Father". Also in Colossians 2:9 the Apostle Paul write that, "all the fullness of godhead dwelleth in Him (Jesus Christ)." What can be drawn from this? If we study, show ourselves approved unto God, rightly divide the word of Truth, and are non-ashamed workers for the Lord Jesus Christ, there are answers!

God isa Spirit! (John4:24). As the God that is capable of anything, God "robed" or "put Himself" (incarnated Himself) in flesh (the Lord Jesus Christ). A book published early in the 20th Century by Oneness Pentecostal pioneers was called, "Is Jesus in the Godhead, or is the Godhead in Jesus?". Any student of the Bible can guess that Colossians 2:9 was the key verse this book was premised upon. There are NOT three gods, persons, or personalities in the Godhead. In actuality, there is not even one person, one God, or one thought process in the Godhead. God exists IN Jesus Christ, not the other way around. Yes . . . in His flesh, Jesus Christ is a mere man. But in His spirit, He is THE Spirit, He is God!
