IS IT POSSIBLE TO GET THE NECESSARY RELIEF TO THE PEOPLE OF CRISIS DURING ALL THIS CRY OF ECONOMICAL DEPRESSION???????

IS IT POSSIBLE TO GET THE NECESSARY RELIEF TO THE PEOPLE OF CRISIS DURING ALL THIS CRY OF ECONOMICAL DEPRESSION???????
The people of Indonesia faced an earthquake, India face flood and the Pacific region face with threats of tsunami. There is much suffering, pain and cries to God and they are looking at us who call ourselves representatives of the Most High on earth; preaching the Good News of Jesus Christ day and night to come to their aid. Well the answer you hear from around the world today is similar: “What can we do during these times, when we are face with economical hardship ourselves”? “We want to help but as you can see; we had to cut back on this and that to make ends meet or else we ourselves will be looking for a way to survive”.
Some Christians Leaders are collecting massive amount of money and food that; well, they started out with good intentions but now that they had the materials ,plans change because they can’t foot the bill of transportation etc.; and those things never reach their intended purpose. Others really want to help but think that what they have is so insignificant that “no need, what can this do”? They do not have they means to get it to the people; yet others do not have but are skilled in one life saving art or the other. In this case, the question remains: What would the Master have done to help these helpless people if He was here physically today? I say this because you who Christ is supposed to live and work in are now shying away from your responsibilities,in the name of economical hardship ; while yet others might want to use this matter of life or death to raise monies and other things to boost their Ministry income and not out of pity for our suffering brothers and sisters out there.

Yes, what would the Master Jesus Christ have done for the people of Indonesia, India, The Pacific Region and other trouble spots on earth; during times of scarcity? Shepherds you are aware that our Lord is a God of compassion and is move by much suffering; therefore He would have found a way to do something and indeed He would have helped these people and much would have remain over to help even others. He show us the way but because we choose to be blind and refuse to submit to it; that is why it seems we are unable to help; when indeed we are able to help. He illustrated it physically and it is written twice in the Bible and (wonderfully too, emphasized in other religions Holy Books even more than the Bible in some cases) Lessons we can pick up from what the Master did and if we emulate will benefit both those suffering one and you dear Shepherd : 1 There is nothing impossible once God is in it 2; there is nothing too small that God cannot work with to accomplish any purpose that is mighty in the eyes of men 3; in unity there is strength, 4;once we follow instructions from God, we will be partakers with Him in performing mighty signs and wonders and 6 the harvest for obedience is twelvefold/Completeness.

It was not a disaster on the scale of the one we are speaking about but one that the Master wanted to used to teach us a valuable lesson. That is why after teaching five thousand that hot day; instead of sending them home as usual, He demonstrated that He had always felt for their hunger pangs as they follow Him long distances for various reasons. You see fellow Shepherds the reason for helping those in need is not because we want to gratify our selfish desires; but like the Master it should always be because we have compassion within our hearts. Any other reason for helping is not worth it for the representatives of Christ. Christ had compassion on the people and asked Philip: “whence shall we buy bread that these may eat”?

Isn’t this the same question the Master is asking us today? How can we get materials to assist those suffering from the effects of the earthquake; floods, tsunami? He usually asks these kinds out questions to His disciples who He expects to know better. Yes, we have seen Him raise the dead, heal the blind, demon possess, the lepers, attested to by the Father during His baptism (now resurrection) and yet the answer remains like Philip who measure the power of God in the weight of gold and silver. Today your answers are: Where can we get the necessary supplies to help these people; when the cost of what they need can ruin our entire country’s economy? What a big shame, what a disgrace to be called a follower of Christ and yet remain so faithless? I got news for you today from the Master. What is that drop in your hands; bring it for the Lord is able to use it to feed the multitude?

Peter looked around the crowd and saw a little boy with his lunch; prepared by his parents and pointed the Lord’s attention to it. In Unity there is strength as you can see from what is happening here. Christ had compassion; there will always be the Philips; but they can be necessary if we need them to prove the Lord correct, Peter who looks for something the Lord could worked with and the little boy who willingly give his five loafs of bread and two fishes with pride and dignity (like when my grandmother lifted her head to sing to the glory of God)…. Yes Christ is waiting for you to come together with your little drops and He will multiply it to supply the people and you will never know how it happen until you begin to count the leftovers. There are millions out there who need the help of God right now and even more when the rescue workers leave. You who are supposed to be His representatives, flying around the world for giant crusades, preaching on satellite to the ends of the world; now is the time to show your true colours to those who buy your books, listened to your tapes, received Christ at your crusades, etc. The questions are how can you do this effectively and not cause the harm you fear to your Ministries and with how much resource?

Ministries around the world should come together under one Umbrella like example: “Shepherds without borders” and put together their resources as a single unit and move to these areas with a single purpose. Look, some of you have five of six jets, transport helicopters, Lorries, sitting on runways doing nothing but waiting for charter for personal cash. Use it for God because you bought it in His Name, with His cash, from His people. Some of you have warehouses of clothes, food and other things that you collected to be used last year for one purpose or the other; but did not use it, release it to save the life of a creation of God. There are no big churches and small churches in this matter; every church should be able to bring out something in love; even if it is a dime, no African poor church, Asian poor church or American rich church. Some do not have cash, but like Peter can lobby for things the Master can work with. You are selling hundreds of books and tapes daily, so you can afford even a little for God. Individuals Christians should be encouraged to participate in bringing what they have and no gift should be too small to help. I am trying to encourage us to find a solution to helping our brothers and sisters who are suffering and stop crying economic because we are selfish and refuse to unite. Have compassion on those suffering ones and stop the exploitation, lies, corruption, selfishness, in the name of pity and sorrow.
Now to nail this point home, let’s revisit this story and see what happen next in order to see if there is some substance in what I am talking about. Christ orders the disciples to make the people to sit down. Again I want you to watch unity at work here. Christ could have stood and shouted: “EVERYONE SIT DOWN” but He chose to work in unity in order to demonstrate the power in team work. He took the little boy bread and fishes and gives thanks to the Father. Well, well here we go again: JESUS+BOY FOOD+ DISCIPLE PARTICIPATION+FATHER APPRECIATION = what? Answer: Everyone ate to their filled and twelve baskets of leftovers were collected and even if the little boy wanted to take four baskets home along with his friends; he would have done so.

What can you do to help the suffering people of Indonesia; India and the Pacific Region if you unite your resources and work as a team? There is nothing to small to help if we are earnest to help them as our Master who is a Lord of Compassion. They need you right now more then ever. I am not writing this because I want to organized such a group; but like Peter pointing to the five loaves and two fishes that will allow us to assist our brothers and sisters; even during these difficult times. Pray about it for God wants us to represent Him in this matter. Shepherds; Are you prepare to give up your lunch to assist a dying soul? (John 6:1-13)

HYDERABAD, India — Rescue workers used sandbags to stop a raging river from breaching its embankment near a southern Indian city on Monday as floods triggered by heavy rains over the last week left 2.5 million people homeless.
The flooding, described by officials as the worst in many decades in south India, has killed some 250 people, mostly in the states of Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh. At least five million people are crammed in temporary government shelters.
Flood waters swamped millions of acres of cropland, including sugarcane plantations, prompting worries of a fall in sugar output in Karnataka, the country's third-biggest producer.
Traders also estimated the flooding would hit corn output by at least one million tonnes in Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh, which account for about 35 percent of India's total corn production.
Officials said 300,000 heavy sandbags were being used to fortify weakening embankments of the Krishna river that flows close to Vijayawada, a city of about a million people in Andhra Pradesh and an important trading center.
Rescue workers also moved more than 200,000 people living close to the river. An alert had been sounded in about 100 villages situated along the Krishna.
"These are the worst floods in 100 years," said Dharmana Prasada Rao, Andhra Pradesh's minister for revenue and relief.
Relief officials used helicopters and boats to drop off rations and plastic sheets to hundreds of marooned villagers in Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka.

Reporting from Padang, Indonesia - Expect a far more powerful earthquake than last week's magnitude 7.6 temblor to hit Indonesia's devastated Padang area in the next few decades.

That's the word from a team of leading seismologists, who said the worst is yet to come, although they cautioned that predicting the timing of earthquakes is an inexact science at best.

After a three-day review of seismic evidence using global-positioning equipment, scientists with the Earth Observatory of Singapore, or EOS, found that the earthquake that hit the Indonesian city of Padang did little to relieve the stored tension at the juncture of two tectonic plates.

The EOS team believes that the eventual energy release could result in an earthquake close to the scale of the magnitude 9 monster that triggered the 2004 Indian Ocean tsunami, killing more than 200,000 in a dozen countries.

"We don't think this was the big one," said Paramesh Banerjee, technical director of EOS, a $700-million government-funded institute for the study of tsunamis, volcanoes, earthquakes and climate. "It can happen any time -- now, in 20 years or more."

On Monday, rescue workers ended their search for life beneath the rubble, shifting their focus instead to helping survivors in the area around Padang, a port city of 900,000 on Sumatra island. But their efforts were hampered by torrential rain.
