Have anyone seen a picture with Jesus Christ Smiling? Or is it imply any where in the Bible? If not Why?

He is called a man of sorrows and acquainted with grief.

Somehow though, I picture Him and His disciples as a group who liked to laugh, cut up, pull tricks on one another, kid and tease one another, etc. Some how or another He was approachable. Sinners drew near to Him. Children liked Him. He was called a glutton and a winebibber, a party person.

One time someone said that if you think God doesn't have a sense of humor,
go into your bathroom and look in the mirror.

Jesus had to smile. We know that he wept. Smiling is the sign of happiness. Surely he smiled. I have never seen a picture of Jesus have you?

That is the view from my porch....

No Dr. Never but I was not only referring to a picture like that of today's world but also the scriptures. Is it actually implied somewhere there. Yes I know He must have smiled or even laughed at times but why was it omitted ?

The "pictures" we have of Jesus represent the art of many years ago.

He is shown as a woman with a beard.

I don't think He looked any different than the average "man on the street" back in that day.
I doubt that He had a visible halo.

God laughed in Ps 2:4 He Who Sits in the Heavens shall Laugh: The Lord Shall hold them in derision. Jesus Said, If you've seen me you've see the Father. I and my Father are One.

Wonderful. This is as close to the truth as we can get. Yes Minister Riley if God laugh than Jesus did. It's true.
I just wonder why it was omitted from the emotions mentioned by the Apostles?

I think that Jesus had one of the most sonber religious face ever, he was so serious that if he would have smiled his face would have craked and follen off, or that is what some churches portre it to be... LOL

I can't remember where it is, I would have to look it up, but in a Psalm it describes God rejoicing over us with singing...If God rejoices over us, and sings over us, I think it's safe to say that Jesus was a man of sorrow, joy, heartache, laughter, tears, rejoicing.....

The pictures we have are artists renditions. Most of these artists were atheists, homosexuals and the like.

I remember seeing a clip from a movie on TBN some years back. It sowed Jesus laughing and playing with a child. That's the way I picture Him. I think children liked Him but the strict religious folks didn't.
